in the Donaubergland region
Narri – Narro! This is the traditional and most widespread jester’s call in the Donaubergland. This is how people greet each other during the fifth season until Ash Wednesday.
There are several carnival strongholds of the Swabian-Alemannic carnival, or rather Fasnet, in the Donaubergland region. Fools in the streets, carnival parades and traditional carnival evenings. The fifth season reaches its climax in almost every town in the Donaubergland between “Schmotzige Dunstig” and “Fasnetsdinstig”.
